We are seeking an Associate Actuary (ACAS) to join our team in Nebraska. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and will be responsible for leading actuarial analyses, developing rate indications, and supporting various actuarial initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct actuarial analyses, including rate indications and loss reserving.
• Develop and maintain actuarial models and datasets.
• Implement rate changes and ensure accurate deployment.
• Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
• Validate data quality and improve data processes.
• Collaborate with other business units to address emerging business questions.
• Enhance existing actuarial tools, methods, and procedures.
• Mentor and support the development of peers within the actuarial department.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance in the office.
Qualifications:
• Associate (ACAS) of the Casualty Actuarial Society required.
• Minimum of four years of actuarial experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field required.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced programming skills (VBA, Python, R, SQL).
• Experience with P&C pricing and reserving preferred.
• Ability to handle large datasets and perform complex data manipulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with strong quantitative, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
